The next DSV meeting
Sunday, 19 February 2012

For our next meeting on 19th February, we’re delighted to announce that DSV Member, Mick Moran will present to us for the first time. His smile is well known at our meetings, as well as his welcome contributions to this newsletter.
Mick has come full circle, having initially attended our meetings full of scepticism. (He even confided in various emails to a select few that frankly he thought we were quite mad. Ed.)
Now he’s ready to share his amazing journey into dowsing, taking us into subjects he once would have shied away from as seriously crazy.
Fortunately for the DSV, Mick continued to attend our meetings, taking the long train journey from mid-Victoria. He was often found shaking his head at those meetings and occasionally the emails would fly and there’d be some phone calls to DSV members in between. The one thing he couldn’t deny was having his interest piqued.
He started his dowsing life by learning to dowse with rods and at that time, definitely wouldn’t have anything to do with pendulums. However because he kept hearing about how much could be achieved with a pendulum, he persisted. It took him about two years to get the hang of using one and now he’s a complete convert – to the point that he’ll be demonstrating the art of dowsing at our next meeting!!
Happily, Mick still supplies the DSV shop with his excellent hand-made rods which are keenly sought after.
Given his interest in water, Mick will give us a demonstration on the steps he takes to dowse the depth of water – something we believe that many members and visitors are keen to learn more about.
Mick has also developed a keen interest in the work of American dowser, Raymon Grace. Like Raymon he’s developed his own charts and we think he has even been known to use a bullet as his pendulum.
Mick will speak about his experiences with clearing houses and also his healing work with people.
He has a special subject that now holds his interest. It’s his contact with the spirit world. He will tell us about his personal experiences. Up until now this is an area that Mick has chosen to keep close to his chest. He hasn’t been ready to tell many people about it, let alone write an article for the newsletter, so we are particularly lucky that he’s decided to share his first-hand knowledge in his first presentation to us.
In his usual laid-back way, he wonders whether people will think he’s “bloody mad”, just as he used to think about others at the early DSV meetings he attended.
This is a meeting not to be missed.
It will begin again with some group dowsing led by your Editor, Heather Wilks, who will pick up on one of Raymon’s approaches, from a recent radio interview in America. You can access that and some of his earlier radio interviews via this link - raymongrace.us. There’ll also be some pendulum scrambling for healing in a different vein.
